Welcome to my site. This is to give people in the beautiful city of Perth, Western Australia a place to advertise their upcoming garage sales free of charge.

If you submit an ad here it will be placed close to the top of this page, so that all those viewing the home page will be able to see it. If several are submitted in turn the most recent one will go on top.

As well as drawing local traffic online via search engines (and social media sites like Twitter) I'll be constantly promoting the URL offline on flyers that I distribute throughout the suburbs of Perth (actually, you may have arrived via one of these ads). So, more and more people will visit the site, seeing the ads displayed.
And I'll make a point of distributing those flyers in areas in close proximity to the ads listed on this page. So, say you're in Nollamara and you decide to hold a garage sale in late February. If you submit your free ad to me in the middle of that month, I'll make an effort to keep distributing flyers in that suburb in the fortnight leading up to it. So, those people who view them and decide to look at the site will both be interested in garage sales and close to your location. And they will see your ad. That's about as targeted as an online advertisement can be. Even Google can't beat it!
I also offer a local advertising service in the form of a cheap flyer campaign in which I make up flyers advertising the sale itself (as opposed to just this URL) and distribute them in the residential streets around its intended location. Needless to say that's an even more powerful way of getting locals to know about it, since all the information is there in front of them and they don't have to view this site first.
